Why IZ Development?
Actually “I’ve been fascinated by human and organizational potential and transformation and creating new things for as long as I can remember. As a teenager, I couldn’t understand why people repeated behaviors that clearly didn’t make them happy and already wanted to solve this but had no idea how. This sparked as driver of a 25 year study on the how and why in change in human, products and organizations.
Being quitte adventures type of girl playing with boys climbing in trees and on buildings, always playing in nature with many friends finally led to leading teams of 100 persons and being asked to change multiple environments and breaking though walls of standards which did not serve patterns in behavior and creating new effective structures served by data.
This journey took a few years and multiple other experiences and education like study engines, working in motorcycle shop, study Product Design Engineering and designed for Audi, Volkswagen, Schiphol Group and more and studied Energy Therapist / Coach also to develop my own grow and awareness and finally studied at INSEAD, the global school of business to explore more on organizational grow and change.

I feel really gratefull being able to work in the area that drives me and already finished multiple projects and coaching programs successfully. Also feel very thankful working with so many great leaders and experts. I keep on learning every day as I am very curious also.
When partners or friends describe me I often hear the words: Courage, Powerful, sensitive, always aiming for the best in everyone, understanding everyone, bridge builder, emphatic, highly compatative, open, playful, humor, creative and original in her own way and yes…. a workaholic some periods as I really love the Interim assignments because we build the best environments together and removing all the toxics and old patterns to be ready for the new era. This is always an awesome journey as well in small and big international projects. And always so great to see teams being happy with the results we created together.
When I am not working on projects I am working on new ideas with other entrepreneurs to make the world a bit better where it is needed, learn new things on ai or writing on my book and of course enjoy time with family and friends as well as a healthy addiction to sports like padel although running and yoga on the beach is one of my best early morning rituals.
Education
From my background in conscious personal and team development as an Leader in operations at KLM Catering Services and Energy I came to the approach of organizations, teams, structures, cultures as ONE Living System which is constantly influenced above and under the surface. And after studying how change really happens for over 25 years I developed a method that realizes complex change much more easy in a shorter timeframe in multiple environments.
With a background in Product Design Engineering and advanced executive education at INSEAD (Finance, Business Strategy, Creativity & Coaching), Monica brings a track record of more than 17 years of experience in leading operations and complex organizational transformations. She combines hard and soft skills, creative innovation, deep human insight, and high-performance leadership to activate lasting change from within.
